Flash Sentry is a character who appears in My Little Pony Equestria Girls. He hasn't made a debut in any EFF Agents episodes so far. He is Sunset Shimmer's ex-boyfriend. He no longer shows interest in her after their break-up, liking Twilight Sparkle.

He is the childhood friend of Soarin' (Matt Hill) from flight camp. He is the husband of Twilight Sparkle, the uncle of Flurry Heart, and also the father of Flashlight. He resents Rainbow Dash (Ashleigh Ball), Applejack, Rarity (Tabitha St. Germain), Fluttershy (Andrea Libman), Pinkie Pie and Spike (Cathy Weseluck) for breaking the library rule of not interacting with some pony who is "no longer alive". He is Donatello's foremost rival. Flash has an unstable and often violent relationship with his brother-in-law Shining Armor. In My Little Pony: The Book of Golden Oak - Castle of the Elite, he is one of the six main protagonists (along with Big McIntosh, Cheese Sandwich, Fancypants, Shining Armor, and Soarin'). He is voiced by Vincent Tong, who also voiced Prince Blueblood, Garble, Feather Bangs, Sandalwood, and Doughnut Joe.

My Little Pony: The Man Behind the Man

Shortly, after the death of Simon Masrani, Flash, along with Thunder Lane (Trevor Devall), Soarin, and Speed Wave disguised themselves as one of Princess Cadence's royal guards in order to enter Crystal Empire and plot a conspiracy with a treacherous Chinese American mad scientist named Dr. Henry Wu (B.D. Wong), only to betray him later on after they found out that he was secretly working for Hoskins all along with his back turned.

My Little Pony: Purple Flowers and Horns

Flash Sentry appears in Mayor Shelbourne's prologue and serves as the main narrator of events while spying on the unsympathetic mayor.

My Little Pony: Pink Flowers and Horns

Flash Sentry appears in Myles Standish's prologue and serves as the main narrator of events once again while spying on the unsympathetic hunter.
